Prof. Dr. Asmat Lone is a practicing Cosmetic Dental Surgeon and Founder of the Asmat Dental and Medical Centre in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr. Lone has been appointed Middle East’s coordinator for postgraduate Dental and Medical Education at the University of London (UK), University of Cologne (Germany) and the Texas Health Science Centre, San Antonio (USA). An Adjunct Professor of the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Texas, San Antonio Dental School, his memberships include the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Equilibrium Society and the British Dental Association. Dr. Lone updates the region periodically via focused presentations at selective gatherings.

Dr. Aziza Eldarrat is an Assistant Professor and Consultant works in College of Dentistry, University of Sharjah.  Dr Eldarrat holds a PhD degree from Leeds University in UK and her PhD degree was awarded with the prestigious Peter Wilson Prize and Gold Medal of Excellence in Research from Leeds University.  Recently, she is the recipient of Emirates Foundation for Philanthropy Research Grant Award from Abu Dhabi, Patent Award and Certificate of Excellence from University of Sharjah. Dr Eldarrat is a founding member of the Dental Department in one of the biggest teaching hospitals in Libya and the College of Dentistry in University of Sharjah. Dr Eldarrat's clinical experience in the field of dentistry expends over 25 years.  Dr Eldarrat has been actively involved in many research areas related to the new applications of electrochemical techniques and ultrasound in the dental field. Her long term aim is to develop new diagnostic instruments.  In addition, Dr Eldarrat is a member of many scientific dental societies and a regular reviewer for several dental journals.  She has many publications in well recognized international dental journals.

Dr. Cristina de Perez-Verdia MBA works in aesthetic and prosthodontic dentistry with Tames y Asociados in Mexico City, Mexico and serves as one of their volunteer dentists at the Nocaltzin Charity Dental Clinic, providing free dental services to 300 children unable to afford dental care. She is a medical research editor, Spanish-to English translator and Professor of English medical terminology to Spanish-speaking dentists. Cristina has served on boards of various non-profit international organizations helping poor women and children in the areas of health and education and has hosted a radio talk show on these topics to raise the public’s awareness on such topics.

Dr. Hans van der Elst is the Clinical Director of the German Dental Oasis, responsible for management and clinical operations. He is a dental expert in the US on dentalXP.com an innovative e-learning educational website and lectures on implantology at congresses worldwide. Dr. Hans is the founding member and President of Medical Oasis, an association for continuous education in Switzerland which will now cascade the dentalXP.com Middle East regional specialisation chapter.

Dr. Mahyar Sadeghi is a periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He received his dental degree from the University of Southern California and his certificate of periodontology and Master of Science in Oral Biology from the University of California, San Francisco. Along with his private practice, he held a teaching position at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Currently, he is the Director of Dental Services at Tawam and continues his clinical practice as a consultant Periodontist.
